Poseidon Diving Systems has announced the launch of a new ‘Poseidon Regulator Configurator’ to help scuba divers decide which configuration is best suited to their needs.
The Configurator is available on Poseidon’s website, and also as a version that dealers can embed on their own websites
Poseidon says the new utility is designed to help divers, dealers, and distributors identify the right regulator configuration based on how the diver will actually use the equipment.
Instead of starting with standardized kits that may later need to be modified, the configurator guides the customer toward a setup that is tailored to their diving needs from the beginning.
‘Choosing the right regulator setup can be challenging, both for beginner divers and for divers who are moving into more specialized configurations,’ said Daniel Benér, Head of Global Sales at Poseidon Diving Systems.
‘With the Poseidon Regulator Configurator, we want to make that process easier, more accurate, and more supportive for both the diver and the dealer.’
The configurator enables customers to build regulator configurations for different types of diving, including standard, streamlined, long hose, doubles, sidemount and stage tanks.
By helping to ensure that each setup includes the correct first stages, second stages, hoses, accessories, and configuration layout, the Poseidon says the configurator ‘supports a smoother buying process’ and thus reduces the need for adjustments after purchase.
Poseidon will continue to offer regulator kits to end consumers via its website, with customers redirected to the configurator during the process.
Once the customer has finalised their preferred configuration, they can select their nearest Poseidon Flagship Dealer as their preferred point of contact and pickup location.
The selected dealer will receive the order confirmation and can subsequently support the customer by assembling, checking, and preparing the configured regulator.
Dealers can also embed the configurator directly into their own websites, keeping the sales process with the customer directly connected.
‘The embedded version gives dealers a tool they can use directly on their own homepage,’ said Benér. ‘It helps them support customers earlier in the buying process and makes it easier to present Poseidon regulators as a customisable, purpose-built system rather than a standardized product.’
