New global dive-travel platform Scubago set to launch in 2026

A new online marketing and reservation platform for the diving industry is set to launch early next year. Scubago, developed in Germany, aims to connect dive centres, resorts and divers through a commission-free system designed specifically for the dive-travel sector.

The platform is expected to go live during the Boot show in Düsseldorf in January 2026. According to the developers, Scubago will allow divers to search and reserve a wide range of activities, including scuba diving, freediving, technical courses, mermaiding, snorkelling and swim training.

It will also offer combined dive-and-stay packages, courses and social or conservation-focused events.

Scubago’s creators say the site will launch with a substantial database already in place, including verified information for more than 10,000 dive sites, over 1,100 destinations, 150 wildlife pages and more than 4,000 participating dive centres and resorts.

An additional library of destination and marine-life information is intended to help divers research locations before booking.

For operators, Scubago will run on a subscription model and will not charge commission on bookings. The developers say the platform includes tools to help centres increase visibility and manage enquiries and reservations more efficiently.

Dive operators interested in joining the platform can register for updates at www.scubago.com/partners or arrange meetings at upcoming trade shows via info@scubago.com.

Scubago will exhibit at Boot Düsseldorf from 17–25 January 2026 (Hall 12, stand A69) and at the Salon de la Plongée in Paris from 8–11 January 2026.
