Insta360’s successful 360° X5 action camera is getting an additional tool for content creaters with the launch of its new Invisible Dive Case Pro.
The new housing is built using advanced optics that reduce distortion by refraction, delivering images with sharper details and truer colours, especially in clear water and close-up shots.
The Invisible Dive Case Pro will sit in Insta360’s stable alongside the regular Invisible Dive Case, but is recommended as an alternative for divers and creators who want to prioritise image quality in their content.

The Invisible Dive Case Pro is made from professional-grade material rather than the plastic of the standard case, is larger in size and, at 420 grammes, more than double the weight of the Invisible Dive Case.
The new case has a slightly lower depth rating of 50m, over the original housing’s 60m, but Insta360 says the results of the improved optics far outweigh the less travel-friendly specifications.

The Pro version is just £12 more expensive than the standard case, and both are compatible with the Insta360 Invisible Selfie Stick, essentially eliminating any camera equipment from the resulting images.
‘If you want maximum clarity and pro-level imaging, the Invisible Dive Case Pro is the obvious pick,’ said a spokesperson for Insta360. ‘If you value portability, depth, and ease of travel, the original Invisible Dive Case is also a great option.
‘Whichever you choose, both options deliver reliable performance and expand your creative possibilities underwater.’
