Aqualung i330 dive computer recall

Aqualung recalls i300 dive computers

By

Aqualung has issued a product recall for i330R dive computers produced and distributed in 2021 and 2022 due to a fault which prevents the computer automatically adjust its pressure level when diving at an altitude of 900m (3000ft) or higher.

Aqualung is asking customers who may be affected to stop using their i330 dive computers until a mandatory firmware update is performed. The update can be performed by the user through the associated Aqualung DiverLog+ application, or at an authorised Aqualung dealer for divers who may be unfamiliar with the software. Once complete, the firmware version will read R1.004, as opposed to R1.003, as pictured above-right.

Products affected by the recall are the i330R Dive Computer (wrist model) and both the metric (bar) and imperial (psi) versions of the i330R 2-gauge console. The affected products can be identified from the part numbers present on the original packaging, or the serial number located on the rear of the computer.

Part numbers (left) can be identified on the packaging; serial numbers (right) on the back of the computer
