Specialist underwater camera gear manufacturer, SeaLife, has added extended the available colour filter range for its SportDiver Underwater Housing for Smartphones, with a new magenta colour-correcting filter for use in green water.
The SportDiver smartphone underwater housing already includes a red filter for use in blue water, designed to restore and correct for colour-loss in the red light spectrum underwater.

The filters are made from optical acrylic that uses proprietary colour pigments, and are most effective between depths of 3 and 18m. The filters are easily attached and removed from the SportDiver’s optical lens frame while underwater, where they also serve as a protective cover for the SportDiver’s glass port.
The filters may be used with or without external underwater lights, depending on the shooting distance and water conditions. A lanyard is included for attaching the filter to the housing to prevent loss.
