TEKAsia 2027 will return to Suntec Singapore from 9-11 April 2027, with a three-day programme covering technical diving, underwater exploration, research and safety alongside the 33rd edition of the Asia Dive Expo (ADEX)

The 2027 conference will cover a broad range of subjects, including wreck and cave diving, rebreather technology, equipment development and configuration, decompression procedures, hyperbaric medicine, diving safety, underwater archaeology, commercial and saturation diving, marine research and the latest developments in diver training.

The programme aims to provide a balance between practical diving experience, scientific understanding and emerging technology, with presentations that will appeal to divers from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels.

While technical diving remains a central focus, TEKAsia is not exclusively for technical divers, and recreational divers are welcome to attend – one of the conference’s objectives is to encourage a greater understanding of the different disciplines within diving and provide recreational divers with an opportunity to learn more about the equipment, techniques and training used in advanced underwater exploration.

The exchange of information between divers with different backgrounds and experience is an important part of the event, particularly as the industry continues to evolve.

An equally important aspect of TEKAsia is the opportunity for members of the international diving community to meet and exchange ideas. The conference brings together people involved in exploration, research, education, equipment development and practical diving operations, many of whom rarely have the opportunity to meet in one location.

As diving technology and scientific knowledge continue to advance, TEKAsia 2027 will provide an opportunity to consider where diving is heading and how these developments can contribute to safer, more informed and more capable divers.

The conference also recognises the importance of learning from the experiences of previous generations while encouraging new ideas and approaches to underwater exploration.

Further information on the conference programme and other event announcements will be released in the coming months. For a look at the speakers confirmed so far and to find out more and purchase tickets, visit the TEKAsia 2027 website.
