Scuba training agency, Dive RAID International, has announced the successful completion of its inaugural Instructor Evaluation (IE) programme in India. A press release accompanying the news said the IE ‘marks a significant step forward’ in RAID’s commitment to expanding its presence in India’s rapidly growing market.
‘India holds immense potential for the diving industry, whether it’s introducing newcomers to the wonders of the underwater world through try dives or advancing the skills of seasoned divers through technical diving,’ said RAID. ‘The successful completion of this IE reflects not only RAID’s dedication to fostering diving excellence but also the untapped opportunities that India presents for future growth.’
‘This achievement is a testament to the tireless efforts and vision of DRI’s shareholder, Christopher Haslam, and local RAID representative, Jonah Skoles,’ the statement continued. ‘Their unwavering commitment to promoting the RAID brand and its unique benefits has been instrumental in establishing a strong foothold in the Indian market.’
‘We are incredibly proud to have reached this milestone in India,’ said Haslam. ‘The country is poised for tremendous growth in the diving sector, and we are excited to be at the forefront of this journey.’
‘India offers extraordinary diving experiences,’ said Skoles, a resident of India for more than 38 years, ‘and as the market continues to grow, we’re excited to see even more of its underwater treasures becoming accessible to all ocean enthusiasts.’
