Popular liveaboard company Blue O Two has now been entirely incorporated into the Master Liveaboards brand, after the ailing operator was bought by Master in the wake of financial turmoil following the Covid pandemic.
Blue O Two, famous for its popular Red Sea and Maldives liveaboards, entered administration in November 2022, however, the brand name continued trading under the ownership of Scuba Tours Worldwide Limited.
Master Liveaboards announced in November 2023 that it had taken over the operation of Blue Horizon and Blue Melody, based in the Egyptian Red Sea, and Blue Voyager, which operates in the Maldives.
The news was announced in a statement on social media, as the Blue O Two Facebook page changed its name to Master Liveaboards – BO2.
