Master Liveaboards has announced that it will be taking over the operation of Blue O Two’s Red Sea and Maldives liveaboards, after the British operator went into administration last year.

Blue O Two suffered greatly as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, particularly the British government’s poor handling of its constantly changing travel restrictions. The company has continued to trade under the Blue O Two brand name, however, after its acquisition by Scuba Tours Worldwide.

In a statement announcing the takeover, Master Liveaboards said that it was ‘very excited to announce three new vessels and two new destinations to their portfolio.’

From Tuesday October 31 onwards, Master Liveaboards will be taking over both operations and sales of Blue Horizon and Blue Melody in the Egyptian Red Sea, as well as Blue Voyager in the Maldives.

Blue O Two has been operating these award-winning vessels for many years and on the ground, the same great team will be waiting for customers, both old and new. However, both the management and the branding of the vessels will be shifting to Master Liveaboards who will bring their wealth of worldwide vessel operations to the already excellent team.

They will also continue to push things forwards, as they always have. Master Liveaboards will also bring their world class sales and reservations team into play as the main booking hub for all Master Liveaboard vessels. This will mean even more choice for Master Liveaboards clients, all in one place.
