Hot on the heels of its new colour scheme for certain models of mask, Scubapro is offering a 20 per cent discount and free accessory set with purchases of its Everflex Yulex DIVE 5mm or 7.5mm Steamer wetsuits.
Scubapro has been spending a lot of time working on environmentally-friendly dive gear, calling its Everflex Yulex dive suits part of a ‘modern, plant-based generation of diving suits,’ made from natural rubber certified as sustainable by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
Use of the innovative material has resulted in a suit with fewer seams and panels in its construction, which Scubapro claims makes the fit better, with a less restricted range of motion. The suits also have been assembled with sCubapro’s own-brand ‘Blue Diamond Span’ inner fleece for thermal protection.
From now until September the Everflex Yulex Dive suits are available from participating retailers with a 20 per cent discount, with a free accessory set including an Everflex 5/3mm hood; a pair of Everflex 5.0 Arch Boots and a pair of Everflex 5 gloves.
Other eco-friendly practices from Scubapro include reusable packaging for all products, the use of recycled materials during manufacture, and the improvement of manufacturing conditions and shipping routes to help protect the oceans.
Scubapro Everflex Yulex features:
- Fewer seams and panels for maximum range of motion.
- Multi-thickness panels for a combination of warmth and flexibility.
- Blue Diamond Span warm and water-draining inner fleece lining for cold-water protection, plus second black lining for better stretch and easier donning and doffing.
- Internal cuff seals with YKK-zippered cuffs on ankles combined with fuse-cut wrists for comfort and easy donning
- Double blind-stitched outer seams for watertight durability; single blind-stitched inner seams for comfort against bare skin.
- Seat and shoulder areas protected by abrasion-resistant outside lining for increased durability.
