2014 – The journey begins
Since our inception in 2014, OrcaTorch has been dedicated to merging state-of-the-art technology with robust engineering to satisfy the stringent demands of underwater enthusiasts and professionals.
Our inaugural dive light, the OrcaTorch D550, a compact 1,000-lumen model with a tail magnetic switch, was launched that same year and has remained a top choice for basic primary torches in recreational divings
2016 – OrcaTorch wins Best Design Award
Our pioneering product, the D620 canister dive light, secured the Best Design Award on its debut in 2016. This durable, high-lumen dive light quickly earned a reputation for its exceptional performance and reliability, helping to establish our brand as a symbol of quality and innovation within the diving community.
Three years later, we introduced our flagship canister light model, the OrcaTorch D630, designed for both sidemount and backmount diving with the innovative adjustable cord angle feature.
It is a great honour that the D630 was chosen as the 2023 Annual Award for instructors and instructor trainers from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Korea by SDI, TDI, ERDI, and PFI China.
2018 – Flagship video lights
With continued growth, OrcaTorch made significant investments in research and development, leading to the introduction of our flagship video light, the OrcaTorch D910V series.
The D910V lights perfectly integrate the state-of-the-art magnetic charging technology with ergonomic design, which brought innovation to underwater illumination and greatly improved the experience for both divers and underwater photographers.
2020 – A major milestone
A major milestone was marked in 2020 by the launch of our top-selling dive light, the OrcaTorch D710. The compact, palm-sized device serves as a primary light for recreational diving and a backup for technical dives, its industry-leading 3,000-lumen turbo mode and USB-C battery setting a new standard in functionality and power design.

2022 – Global presence secured
In 2020 we broadened our global reach, with products utilised by professional divers and underwater explorers in more than 100 countries and regions.
