Aggressor Adventures has announced that a second Philippines liveaboard dive yacht will be joining its fleet exploring the Visayan and Sulu Seas. Philippines Aggressor II will join the Philippines Aggressor (pictured above) on its maiden voyage on 6 April 2024.
The new liveaboard will offer seven, ten and eleven-night all-inclusive excursions exploring the reefs and atolls of the Visayan and Sulu Seas, with her inaugural Tubbataha Reef itinerary departing from Puerto Princesa, Philippines.
The seven and ten-night excursions to the Tubbataha Reefs National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will continue until June, from when the yacht will journey to the Visayan Sea, with itineraries between June and February visiting the top dive sites of both Tubbataha and the Visayas region, including Cebu, Malapascua, Apo and Bohol Islands.
More from Aggressor Adventures
‘With such high demand for this extraordinary destination, we are pleased to launch a second yacht in the Philippines,’ said Aggressor Adventures’ Chairman and CEO, Wayne Brown.
‘The diversity of the marine life in the Philippines is simply unparalleled. Manta rays, thresher sharks, whale sharks and other pelagics make your adrenaline levels surge, while the profound macro creatures provide awesome photo subjects. The Visayan and Sulu Seas are home to pygmy seahorses, frogfish, ornate ghost pipefish and countless other-worldly, tiny, marine creatures.’
The Philippines Aggressor II is 140ft (43m) long with a 26ft (8m) beam and four decks. The 13 staterooms are divided into five upper-level staterooms with balconies to provide panoramic views of South Pacific sunsets; and eight deluxe lower-level twin-berth cabins. Each stateroom has its own ensuite bathroom and shower, climate control and media player.
Fifteen crew are on hand to cater to guests, providing guided dives, evening entertainment and chef-prepared meals. Other amenities include a hot tub and wet bar, indoor lounge and restaurant, and the Philippines Agressor II’s state-of-the-art scuba facilities include nitrox fills and two dive tenders.
