One thing that is not especially well-covered in zombie apocalypse movies is what happens when the walking dead go for an extended paddle. A dive centre in the North West of England, however, is set on changing that.
The Zombie Apocalypse has happened, and hoards of the snorkelling dead are aimlessly splashing about. Zombies are approaching fast and looking for their next meal – You.
This coming Halloween weekend, scuba diving enthusiasts are in for an unforgettable experience as Bolton Area Divers presents the exclusive PADI Zombie Apocalypse Diver course. This fun and challenging experience is designed to equip divers of all levels with the skills to survive a zombie apocalypse!

Course Highlights:
- Dive into the Zombie Apocalypse with a complimentary Student Manual and Survival Guide.
- Earn the coveted Zombie Apocalypse Diver certification.
- Explore Zombie Biology, History, and Types of Zombies.
- Gain essential survival, buoyancy, search and recovery, rescue, and first-aid skills.
- Receive a certificate for framing (a rarity in a post-apocalyptic world).
The PADI Zombie Apocalypse Diver course is available exclusively during the Halloween weekend, making it the ultimate way to celebrate the holiday.
Participants need a PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent) certification to enrol, and while the course is, indeed, a great deal of fun, saving the world from the splish-sploshing dead is not an easy task and unskilled divers will be the first to lose their brains to the wading horde.
As a result, the Zombie Apocalypse Diver Specialty Course has some very serious elements which will seriously improve your dive skills, as the programme integrates elements of the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy (PPB), Rescue Diver, Emergency First Response (EFR), and Search and Recovery Diver specialty courses.
The course is PADI-approved and certification counts towards PADI’s Master Scuba Diver certification.
Don’t miss your chance to become a certified Zombie Apocalypse Diver this Halloween weekend. For booking and more information, contact Shereen at Bolton Area Divers via phone at 01204 394441 or by emailing shereen@boltonareadivers.co.uk.
