PADI launches PADI PRO + rewards programme for dive professionals

PADI has launched a new initiative, the PADI PRO+ Rewards programme, designed to recognise and reward PADI Professionals for their teaching activity and contributions to growing the dive community.

Building on PADI’s existing member benefits, the programme introduces ‘additional membership savings, teaching milestones and recognition linked to professional development and certification activity’.

PADI says the new rewards programme is ‘intended to support its global network of dive professionals while encouraging industry growth and ocean stewardship’.

‘PADI Pros are at the heart of our mission – teaching, certifying, and inspiring divers around the world,’ said Kristin Valette Wirth, Global Brand and Membership Officer for PADI Worldwide.

‘The PADI PRO+ Rewards program is designed to recognise that contribution in a tangible way, rewarding their dedication, celebrating their achievements, and giving back meaningful value that supports their continued success.’

The programme expands on PADI’s existing Elite Instructor scheme by introducing milestone rewards tied to teaching activity. It is open to eligible PADI Professionals worldwide, including Divemasters, Assistant Instructors and Instructors.

PADI Pros will earn ‘ProPoints’ based on certification activity, with increasing levels of savings linked to higher certification milestones. Professionals at the highest tiers will receive Elite Instructor status and additional savings, with the highest-certifying members eligible for free membership.

PADI said qualifying certifications issued between 1 September 2025 and 31 August 2026 will count towards rewards applied to 2027 membership dues.

According to the organisation, the programme forms part of a broader package of membership benefits intended to support professional development within the dive industry.
