Divers and marine life enthusiasts around the world are invited to take a visual vacation to the reefs of Wakatobi in a new e-book published by a pair of award-winning underwater photographers. Dive Wakatobi is described as a ‘labour of love’ by its Perth-based authors, Wayne and Pam Osborn, who have made ten trips to the resort in recent years to pursue their passion for underwater photography.
The 320-plus page book showcases marine life portraits created by Wayne – a former chair of the Australian Institute of Marine Science and Australian Geographic Australasian Nature Photographer of the year 2012 – over the course of more than 550 dives in Wakatobi’s surrounding reefs, together with Pam’s work compiled over more than 1000 hours of snorkelling and freediving, predominantly on the House Reef.
