Christian is an underwater photographer from Germany. He has always been fascinated by the beautiful, rich colors of coral reefs and admired underwater pictures from the first time he saw them.
After his first vacation in Egypt, snorkelling in the Red Sea at the house reef at the hotel, he felt the urge to come back and learn to dive. After finishing his university studies and getting a job, he got back to Egypt in 2013 and became a certified diver. After doing some dive trips and getting more experience, he decided to buy a camera and underwater housing in 2015 to show his friends and family at home the beauty of a world that many of them had never experienced.
Underwater photography quickly became a true passion for him and he tried to learn as much as possible about it reading books, magazines and attending workshops.
Since then he has done several diving trips to Egypt, Florida, Maldives, Indonesia and the Philippines, trying to spend as much time underwater as he could. Sharing his own fascination for the underwater world is still his biggest motivation, as he continues to try to improve his underwater photography.
