Insta360 is celebrating the launch of its game-changing X4 360° camera back in April with a social media campaign for scuba divers to help protect the world’s oceans.

The company has said it will donate $5 to the PADI AWARE foundation – to a maximum of $2500 – for every scuba diving-related post on Instagram that meets the following criteria:

  1. Use the hashtag #Insta360Diving and tag @Insta360 on Instagram
  2. Share diving-related content showcasing underwater adventures, marine life or similar themes.

Insta360’s groundbreaking 360° camera received a huge update with the launch of the X4, which is now capable of filming 360° video in up to 8K, with battery life extended some 67 per cent over its X3 predecessor to 135 minutes of run time at 5.7K 30fps.

Additionally, Insta360’s software suite and app is packed with AI-enabled editing tools, which enable creators to reframe their 360° footage from any angle in post-precessing, thus allowing them to concentrate of filming, rather than always searching for the perfect angle.

Insta360’s Instagram campaign remains open until 19 October 2024.

Follow Insta360 on Instagram now to showcase your passion for diving and share some wild, watery footage to help protect the oceans!
