Jenny Stock, British Underwater Photographer of the Year 2024, DIVE contributor and Big Shot winner, has captured a dazzling underwater display featuring fantastic LEGO models of marine life.

The new attraction at LEGOLAND in Windsor, UK, also includes real-life animals including family favourites Squeak the zebra shark, Pablo the Guitarfish and Homer the Stingray.

Jenny, who was the first female recipient of the British Underwater Photographer of the Year award, was on hand to capture images of the new display, which opened last weekend in time for half-term school holidays in the UK.

Jenny joined LEGOLAND’s head aquarist, Rosie David, as she add the finishing touches to the intricately designed models, which included a giant octopus, brightly coloured crabs and a giant magical treasure chest as well as the other LEGO favourites.

The underwater display is built out of 240,000 bricks and took the model makers 2,190 hours – more than 90 whole days – to create.

‘Growing up, I was always fascinated by underwater creatures and the incredible hidden worlds beneath the surface of the sea’ said Jenny. ‘I jumped at the chance to collaborate with LEGOLAND Windsor Resort on the resurfacing of Deep Sea Adventure as it perfectly aligns with my passion for marine life, creativity and my desire to share that wonder with others.

‘The attraction provides a unique opportunity for kids and families to learn more about marine creatures and their environment in an engaging and interactive way, allowing them to experience creatures they might not have had a chance to see otherwise.’

‘We are thrilled to be bringing back the much-loved Deep Sea Adventure attraction, inviting explorers of all ages to embark on this incredible underwater journey,’ said Ramesh Ganeson, Vice President at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort.

‘The attraction offers a unique blend of education and entertainment, allowing guests to dive deep into marine habitats and discover the wonders of the ocean—all from the comfort of a LEGO Submarine. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for a truly splash-tastic adventure filled with hidden treasures, fascinating sea creatures, and unforgettable memories.’

The attraction is open on selected dates from Saturday 15 February until Sunday 9 March 2025. Prices start from £29 per person and kids under 90cm go free.
