The world’s deepest public pool for divers is due to open in Poland later this year.

DeepSpot is being completed in Mszczonow, about 45km from Warsaw and at 45m will be five metres deeper than the current deepest dive pool, Y-40 in Northern Italy. However, Blue Abyss, will reach 50m and is due to open next year in the UK.

DeepSpot will be about half the size of Big Ben and will have a water volume equivalent to 27 normal swimming pools.
