Northern Diver is offering its innovative and uniquely designed dive reel as a combo package together with its Varilux Micro dive torch, which can be mounted on the reel for hands-free directional light, ideal for lining out in reduced visibility or dark enclosures such as wrecks.
Supplied with 60m (197ft) of high-visibility orange line, Northern Diver’s line reel is manufactured from a combination of anodized aluminium and synthetic polymers for a strong, lightweight and corrosion-resistant product. The free-flowing spool has a thumb-operated spool lock for controlled line deployment, and a sprung reel handle which extends for use while wearing gloves, but springs back to half its length for easy storage.

Northern Diver’s Varilux Micro is an ultra-compact and lightweight rechargeable dive torch, with a 2-hour burn time at its maximum output of 850 lumens and approximately 28 hours on its lowest, 80 lumen setting.
Brightness is controlled via a magnetic induction switch, and the light’s small size means the Micro is easy to stow away in a drysuit/BCD pocket or on a D-ring.
